Alcohol content: 14,5% in volume.
Winemaking: traditional, with long maceration of the skins (2-3 weeks).
Ageing: 3 years and a half of ageing in oak casks, part in barriques and part in barrel, followed by a minimum ageing of six months in the bottle before the release.
Color: intense ruby with orange reflexes.
Nose: neat, ample, with notes of sweet tobacco, liquorice, vanilla and violet.
Taste: full, harmonious with a pleasant dry finish.
Best with: pasta with truffles, red meats, wild game, seasoned cheeses. Here is an idea: try with dark choccolate!
