Wine Denomination: Barbaresco DOCG.

Area of production: Neive (CN), Piemonte.

Cru: San Cristoforo.

Type of soil: calcareous clay with blue marl.

Solar exposure: South-West.

Altitude: 320-350 m.

Grape variety: 100% Nebbiolo estate produced.

Vineyard age: 20 years.

Yield: 70 q/ha.

Number of bottles: 2000.

Alcohol content: 14% in volume.

Winemaking: traditional, with long maceration of the skins (2-3 weeks).

Ageing: 2 years and a half of ageing in oak casks, the first in barriques and then in barrel, followed by a minimum ageing of six months in the bottle before the release.

Color: ruby red with soft orange reflexes.

Nose: ample, fine and spicy, with notes of tobacco, licorice, vanilla and violet.

Taste: full, harmonious with a slightly dry finish.

Best with: pasta with truffles, red meats, wild game, cheeses.

Service temperature: 18-20°C.
