A fairytale place
Cascina Sassi San Cristoforo is located in the middle of this beautiful setting, in the heart of Barbaresco wine production area while only 20 minutes by car from the cities of Alba and Asti.
To take advantage of the numerous opportunities that this area has to offer, Cascina Sassi San Cristoforo provides independent rooms to rent with great views of the villages of Barbaresco and Neive.
Guided tours of the winery
Set in the beautiful context of Langhe and in particular the village of Neive, Sassi San Cristoforo is a small “boutique winery” where every detail has been studied with care and specializing in the production of long aging wines. Barbarescos are produced without hurry, respecting the identity of the Nebbiolo grape and aged in large oak barrels and barriques, resulting in wines characterized by different styles: Barbaresco Classico, Barbaresco San Cristoforo and Barbaresco San Cristoforo Riserva. Upon reservation, it’s possible to organize, together with the owner and winemaker Davide Carniel, guided tours of the winery and wine tastings.
